well, that it has made them over-familiar and sloppy and disrespectful towards Him, even going so far as to imagine that really, `God is like us`, when in truth, they should know that the one true God is nothing like them at all, and that they should humbly get down on their knees and earnestly pray for His forgiveness, and that it is they who should be striving to be like Him.  But, let`s face it, you cannot be like somebody who you do not know!  Let us then not fall into the trap of making Jesus Christ (spiritually, and in our own minds) more like us, rather, we should come to and then stand fast to the knowledge of the fact that we should be constantly striving to be more like Him! How many of these clergy realize, or even care, that by inventing their own ceremonies, their own feast days and observances, by ignoring and doing away with the fourth commandment and putting in place of the Sabbath day, a totally different day, and blasphemously calling it `sunday`, that they are in fact imputing that God is a liar?!  They have said in their evil and corrupt hearts, `O yes, God says to do this, and keep that day or feast, but most of it`s old testament, all Jewish `stuff `and fable, and anyway He`ll forgive us all of our sins` no matter what we do because He`s a loving God`. Well, it`s true, our God is a loving God, but He is not one to be trifled or fooled around with, and He means what He says, and more importantly, He means what He has said in the scriptures, and that includes the old testament!  He is not a liar or a fanciful, easy-going dreamer, and He does not make idle threats!  Let`s read  Malachi 3: 5-9. `And I will come near to you to judgment, and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the unfaithful, and against false swearers, and against those who oppress the worker by not paying him enough, the widow and the fatherless, and that turn away the stranger, and who do not fear Me, says the Lord of hosts. For I am the Lord, I do not change : therefore you sons of Jacob are not consumed. Even from the days of your fathers, you have turned aside from My ordinances (laws) and have not kept them. Return to Me, and I will return to you, says the Lord of hosts. But you said, Wherein shall we return? Will a man rob God? Yet you have robbed Me. But you say, Wherein have we robbed You? In tithes and in offerings. You are cursed with a curse; because you have robbed Me, even this whole nation.`  and now  verses 13-15. `Your words have been arrogant against Me, says the Lord. yet you say, What have we spoken arrogantly against You? You have said, It is pointless to serve God, and what profit is there for us if we have kept His laws and that we have walked mournfully before the Lord of hosts? And now we call the proud, happy, yes, they that work wickedness are set up, and even they who tempt God, are delivered.`  But the Lord does not desert His faithful nor does He let them languish for long amongst the wicked,  verses 16-18. `Then they that feared the Lord spoke one to another, and the `Lord listened and heard it, and a book of rememberance was written before Him for them that feared the Lord, and that thought upon His name. And they shall be mine, says the Lord of hosts, in that day that I make up My jewels, and I will spare them in the same way that a man spares his own son that serves him. Then you shall return and discern between the righteous and the wicked, beween him that serves God, and him that does not serve Him.`  Let`s read from a bit further on,  Malachi 4: 1-4. `For behold, the day comes  (it has not arrived yet!) that shall burn as an oven, and all the proud, yes, and they that commit wickedness shall be as stubble, and the day that comes (is yet to come) shall burn them up, says the Lord of hosts, That it shall leave them neither root nor branch. but to you who revere My Name, shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in His wings; and you shall go forth and grow up as calves of the stall. And you shall tread down the wicked, because they will be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do
